Composition: The mattress core is made of 75mm coconut fibre. Surrounding the core is 500gsm NZ eco-wool with a 100% cotton inner cover. All layers are hand stitched together (no glues are required), and finished with an additional zipped organic cotton hemp fabric cover that is quilted with 250gsm NZ wool wadding. Organic NZ wool Cot mattress cover
The way we make our INNATURE Cot Mattresses, the outer layer, being unbleached organic cotton hemp fabric quilted with wool, it is designed to be spot washed whilst in place, rather than removed for machine washing. However, the cover can be easily removed and replaced for another baby. Our mattresses have proven themselves to be very durable and often used for multiple children. By replacing the mattress cover for a new baby, you create a hygienic and fresh start for your new baby.

We strongly recommend protection for your cot mattress with our INNATURE Cot Mattress Protector made from organic wool quilted in organic cotton casing. This underlay is 100% natural, and is totally free from chemical finishes and synthetic fibres. It has very good absorption qualities, keeping your mattress dry in the event of small accidents.
Our Cot Mattress Protector can be machine-washed. We recommend gentle mode, cold water, eco-wool detergent, no fast spin and dry on the line.
