Ordinary cotton is one the most heavily sprayed crops in agriculture; organic cotton is better for you and the planet. We offer BACCELLO range of fully certified organic cotton sheet sets for affordable price.
Many conventional sheets are made of polyester-cotton blends and finished with chemicals for a “wrinkle-free” finish. Formaldehyde is the most commonly used chemical to create this finish and has been known to cause headache, skin rashes, asthma attacks, fatigue, and insomnia. Most mattresses and foam pillows sold in department stores are sprayed with fungicides, pesticides, and fire retardants, the last known to create irreversible damage to children’s nervous systems. Foam mattresses and pads made with petroleum products and other chemicals emit toxic fumes that can create allergic responses in some individuals and may present carcinogenic and other health risks.
